Soundview Roofing is dedicated to giving back to the community. A business can not operate if it does not have a community to serve. Helping others and being good neighbors is something we pride ourselves on and always will.
This principle was instilled within me while I served in the United States Army and while working with my father running his small business growing up.
Therefore, when you purchase any service from Soundview Roofing, a portion of the profit will be donated to give back to local organizations and charities supporting Connecticut residents.
Anthony started working construction at the age of 14 in his father’s roofing and custom copper business eventually leaving home to serve on active duty in the United States Army. After serving honorably, Anthony returned home and attended the University of New Haven full time while also returning to his father’s roofing business full time.
Graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and an MBA in Business Policy and Strategic Leadership, Anthony went on to hold a number of positions in heavy highway construction, large scale logistics and manufacturing refining his skills in Fortune 500 companies. Anthony found great value in helping other humans grow personally and professionally throughout this time.
Anthony founded Soundview Roofing to get back to his roots, embody the values learned throughout his life and bring a quality trusted service to Connecticut.
Tony Buonfiglio has been a leading field expert in the roofing industry in the state of Connecticut for almost 50 years. After working for all the big name roofing companies in the state, Tony wanted to change how roofing business was conducted and do it on his own terms. In 2003, he started his own small roofing and copper business.
He provided straightforward and honest business to homeowners and business owners alike. His focus on quality and great craftsmanship built a reputation of trust differentiating himself from the typical roofers within the industry.
Tony went well beyond just making a living with his skills and leveraged his roofing and construction experience to give back to communities across the country. By partnering with a local mission group, he dedicated considerable time leading trips of volunteers to New Orleans, Kentucky, Texas and Puerto Rico helping families rebuild their homes after disaster had struck. His goodwill reached beyond his home in Connecticut embodying the mantra “Do something nice for someone and don’t get caught.”
